C & Power Steering drive pulley) clearing the frame (p. 2A-4, illustration 5.6b in the Eclipse&Talon 95-01 manual). The crankshaft pulley I am trying to remove hits the frame on the smaller diameter section, about a half inch radially inward from the outside diameter of this smaller section. The pulley doesn't clear the shaft before hitting the frame. Any thoughts?

I have the same car and did the same thing,,, pop the engine mount off and lower the engine slightly with a jack, it will have just enough clearance to squeeze the pulley out :)
