Calculator Bricked, all keys non responsive
Ditto, same problem
I bought my daughter a TI-83 plus a year ago for her freshman high school year. Recently we replaced the batteries with new ones in preparation for this year. All the keys are nonresponsive. I am unable to clear anything or even turn it off. I even tried removing the backup battery before removing the AAA batteries to see if the memory would be cleared. I still get some calculus functions (tan, sin, cos etc.) displayed when I reinstall the batteries and still can't use any keys.
