Cam freezes when i turn on the cam the blue "busy" light comes on and on the screen is the Vivitar "we make it easy" and thats all it will do i cant view any old pics or change modes etc

Easy fix.
1. Take batteries out and put back in.
2. Depress and hold 'Menu' button on rear of camera.
3. Turn it on ( power button on top of camera ).
It works!

3. Depress power on button on top of camera ( ie. turn it on! ).
