Camera fell in the river with me, pics in memory card won't open
My Olympus SP 550 UZ fell in the river with me...i know my cam have a 50% chance of survival but my memory card somehow is acting the same way...when i first tried to view the pics from the card it opened using a card reader but when i tried it again, it won't open, i tried almost 5 different types of mem. card repair software, I need help, pics are very important...The card came with the Olympus camera when i bought it, is there any other way to retrieve my pics and videos in the card?

Hi - first make sure the contacts of the memory card are clean. Try cleaning with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol then lightly polish with an eraser, the pencil type with the hard white rubber are best.
Then try reading the card again.

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!
