Camera Ready and Flash
Camera turns on fine but then green light flashes and camera takes LITERALLY 1 minutes PLUS to be ready to take pictures even in broad daylight. And then a long time between photos to be ready again AND now no matter the mode I'm in, the flash won't fire at all.
Batteries are new and I keep changing them with no change in above issues, I haven't changed anything since I last used camera in may'08, no warnings coming up on screen, nothing....

I'f your using alkaline AAs, try using rechargeable NiMH batteries or lithium disposables. Alkalines are very poor at supplying the kind of current needed to recharge the flash. I've found other Samsung cameras to be particularly fussy about batteries, and not always consistently so! Good luck.
