Camera takes blank pictures on closeup
Whenever I try and take a high quality, closeup picture by holding the snapshot button halfway to focus and then taking the picture after the green light appears on the screen, the picture always comes out completely black.
Really need help with this. Is there something wrong with the camera or is there a different method for taking HG closeups?

Have you set the camera to "Micro" mode? Usually a button or dial setting with what looks like a Tulip on it.
Thanks for your comment, Now I can't say I know this camera. But I do know on these types, if you don't get your manual setting right, there's usually something goes amiss.
