Ok, always use good quaility teo stroke oil, from a manufacturer who actually produces a chainsaw, ie Husqvarna/Stihl/Jonsered etc, all of these oils should be run at 50-1, avoid oil makes you have never heard of. Starting instructions are as follows, switch the red ignition switch too on ( up ) depress the primmer bulb as many times as it takes to 3/4 fill the bulb ( you cannot flood the engine if you over prime, it is better to over prime ) pull the blue choke fully out, crank the engine until it fires once ( it will only fire once, do not continue to crank the engine after it first fires with the choke still out ) now push the choke fully back in, crank the engine until it fires up and runs on fast idle, now blip the throttle trigger to diss engage the fast idle position, the saw should now drop down to idle.
