Can I add this direct to the power steering fluid even if it’s full or I have to wait till it’s lower in the fluid container? A mechanic told me that I have a leak at the rack & pinion but he suggested I try this stuff first. I have a 2009 Honda Accord

I would not wait until it leaks out. However, do not overfill the reservoir - best practice is to suck enough fluid out so that after you add the additive the fluid in the reservoir goes to the full mark (there are inexpensive manual suction pumps available for this but a new turkey baster will work, but be sure you do not reuse it afterwards).
