Can not enter bios. first time starting this board up. when it starts it gos strait to the msi screen. it tells me to press delete to enter bios. when I do nothing hapens. looks like it does not want to read my key bord. I didnt even get a memery count when it booted

The MSI screen will hide the memory count - you need to disable the loading screen to see the memory count.
Are you using a USB keyboard? USB is initialised in the BIOS, so it may not read USB devices the first time. Try using an older style PS/2 keyboard - that should work by default.
