Can not get the bricks to light on my empire corcho
Model # r-15 wall propane heater..empire corcho
i get the pilot light to light but when i try to get 1 brick or 2 bricks or all 3 bricks to light ...the flame goes out i cleaned the bricks with air cleaner but to no change????
i think it might be the part the knob is on that switches it from 1 to 2 to 3 bricks not sure what it is called maybe a regulator of some sort.... anyone have ever had this happen and what can be done thanks bill

I have the same htr in Mich. & have worked on gas htrs.for many years.
Does the flame go out when you let go of the button to lite it?
If it does, then the thermocouple is bad.
If the flame stays on, but goes out when you turn the dial,
the gas regulator is bad.
Probably a little more expensive to buy new then to fix it.
