I have the same problem, try re-editing the number, if it lets you re-save the new contact and it will complete the synchronization, if not then turn it off and back on, it will let you edit it then. it was kind of a pain when mine kept yelling at me but so far this is all ive found to help with the issue, ive had it for a couple months and didnt know what it was trying to do in the first place for a while. this wont stop it from freaking out again the next time you add in a number, but just re-edit again and it will calm down.
