Can you assist with this problem? The freezer of my Sub Zero model #690 is not freezing hard enough and a light blinks that says "service" next to the temperature control button. I don't have a manual. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that your unit has a 'Service' indicator flashing. This message is displayed when the unit has had to run for an excessive period of time. This means that your unit is having difficulty cooling and as a result is running more often than normal.
My first suggestion would be that you turn off your unit and clean your condenser.Cleaning your condenser on a regular basis will help keep your unit running efficiently. While your compressors run, air is drawn through the condenser area where dust and/or pet hair can collect. Our recommendation is to vacuum this area at a minimum twice a year. Failure to do so could result in temperature loss, mechanical failure, or damage.Turn off the unit when you clean the condenser. This will reset the 'Service' indicator.
You will find instructions on how to vacuum your condenser in your Use & Care Manual. We also offer a video that provides clear instructions on our website, which you can view by following the enclosed link:
After trying this, if your unit is still having problems keeping temperature or if the service light has come back on, I would recommend that you contact a Factory Certified Service company. To find a Factory Certified Service Company in your area please use the link below.Enter your zip code, select 'Service, Repair and Parts
