These thermocuoples are some of the finest ever made. The pilot not staying lit means you automatically want to try and change the thermocouple which is a costly one. And that will not fix the problem. The problem with these ODS pilots is they get dusty in summer. The safety device needs to be flushed to clear out the dust. I use rustbuster to gently flush out the pilot. I let it dry out and then light the pilot.
