CANDY GAS OVEN - INCONSISTENT GAS FLOW- ( BRAND NEW)
I HAVE A CANDY GAS OVEN. WHEN THE KNOB IS PRESSED THE AUTOMATIC SPARKS, IGNITES THE OVEN, BUT AS SOON AS THE KNOB IS RELEASED, GAS FLOWS STOPS. NO MATTER HOW LONG THE KNOB IS BEING PRESSED, THE OVEN STOPS TO BURN, AS SOON AS THE KNOB IS RELASED? TECHNICIANS CHECKED SEVERAL TIMES, BUT COULDNT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. CAN ANY ONE ASSIST PLS?

First, Change your technician.
There is a part that senses the heat from the ignited gas, usually quite close to the flame on the oven burner where it first ignites. It is called a generator and it produces about 1/3 of a volt, that holds the gas valve open only while the flame is lit, as a safety device. Pressing the knob at the time of ignition bypasses this by holding the valve open, after releasing the knob then the system relies on the presence of an oven flame to hold the valve open. Check the generator at the point it enters the oven control valve, is it loose? Maybe it is faulty or the oven valve is faulty. Any real technician can identify the the problem easily.
