Cannot figure out how to take good macro shot with new Tamron len
I have had only automatic macro focusing on my digital Fugi camera, now I have new Canon Xsi w/Tamron 18-200 mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) macro. I am not understanding how to create a good macro picture. If I get close enough to subject to fill the lens, it won't take the picture and I have to move back, which lets in background I don't want. Specifically taking flower pictures. Can you explain to me how to use the lens to get good macro picture and control focus on subject? Thx.
