Cannot get the torque converter seated on a 2013 chrysler 200 with a automatic transmission
Changed a 3.6 engine with the same engine. bolted up the transmission and the motor will not turn with a socket on the crankshaft. if I loosen the bolts on the transmission the motor will turn over. I think the torque converter is not seated properly in the transmission. how do you seat the torque converter in the transmission. do you hear something when it is seated correctly. do you turn the Torque converter on direction or both direction to get it to seat

Make sure the torque converter is for the same transmission, and all you have to do is turn the converter left and right while pushing it in and it should pop in connectiong the oil pump.
