My headset was working fine yesterday, but today it seems that i cannot hear the dial tone on my head set speaker, it still has connection with the base and it all works, but cannot figure out why the headset wont produce, i can hear the beeping when changing the volume but no dial tone

i have reset the entire set up, from the phone, all the way to the actual headset

please help
