Hello, Make sure the that the floor of the crib/playpen is in the up position (not flat) when you pull the side rails out. This is a safety feature. If you lower the floor first and then the side rails the side rails will never catch as they should. Snap the side rails into place first and then lower the floor.
Glad to help. I figured it would work. This is a safety feature of playpens and 3 in ones. It ensures that little ones don't pull the rails up and injure themselves. The reason they can never pull the rails up is because they are in the playpen keeping the floor flat. When it is time to pull the playpen up you will want to pull the floor up first and then collapse the side rails.Glad to help. I figured it would work. Hi.
the centre of the floor most be raised. otherwise it is nearly impossible to lock the sides of this type of crib.
when you open the crib, lock the sides before pressing the centre of the floor down.
when closing, raise the centre of the floor first.
hope this helps.
