The connector to the plug appears damaged, blue light blinks. Also, I might have "overloaded" the drive (there was almost 100 gig left btw) - but I did get a message saying that the drive was full.

Only want to retrieve data at this point. Is there a way to hook up the drive (if I take the case off, as suggested on other forums) to the PC?

Product is no longer in warranty.
