Can't Change Country Setting
The country setting is greyed out in both TV and DTV menus, I have tried a factory reset but that didn't work. I contacted Samsung who said that the tv is set to UK as it was bought there and can only be changed by a technician. I have checked the service manual and there is no info there how to change the setting. I want to change it from UK to Germany so the tuner will hopefullt be able to pick up Australian frequencies. Help!

What is the system of transmission to German transmissions? Is it PAL? If so, you can set its country code option, by entering its service mode option. In this option, you will get a section to change its country option. If the Samsung model TV of yours' have facility to receive German transmission, check this mode.
