Can't close my garage door Mine will go down if I hold the wall button until it is all the way down, but it goes right back up. I have unhooked the sensors and it still does it. What do I do or what do i check?

THE SENSORS ARE A MUST THE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED NOT TO FUNCTION WITHOUT THEM.
SOUNDS LIKE IT IS TRYING TO CLOSE TOO FAR CHECK THE DOWN TRAVEL LIMIT ADJUSTMENT.
