My son has a Belkin 54g Router. His kids laptop connect thru wireless and can access wb no problems. Status pof wireless connection shows that the ipv4 settings are 10.0.0.1 . My sons Dell laptop will only give a wireless connection that is local ie no net access. His ipv4 numbers are 192.168.2.3. My laptop has exactly the same problem. I can connect to the router by cable and net access is ok. I have tried ipconfig /release & renew. The ip address that the Belkin shows when I access it is 192.168.2.2. Where is the 10.0.0.1 on the kids machine coming from? I set security on the Belkin and had to enter that code to access the web, so they are definitely coming out of the Belkin. What is going on? How can I fix it?
