Can't figure out how to adjust VCR tracking
My dad has a Quasar VH220 tape player and lots of good tapes, but the picture is all shaky on all the tapes. I remember that sometimes the tracking had to be adjusted by pushing a button somewhere on VCR players, but I can't fing any such button on the front or back of this machine. Can you help?

Open the player, use cotton wool and methylated spirit to clean the play head of your tape player and the picture will be clear. It is dirt that is making the picture shaky.
Its not all the time that tracking can solve the problem. So clean the player's play head and all will be well.
Please don't apply too much spirit and make sure you dry it with a dry wool. Also make sure the player is turned off and removed from electricity before you proceed for the cleaning.
