Can't get digital channels on 37
We've had this TV for 2 years, and never was able to get any local channels - it is hooked up to satellite TV, but still couldn't get local channels to speak of. We just bought a new visio 32" tv this week and lo and behold it gets all kinds of local channels, and several we've never heard of. Do I still have to have an antenna hooked up to scan for digital channels also? I thought this TV should at least get the same local channels that the new vizio gets. I got out my manual, went through the process again, and still the same results. Tried to call the toll free number and it no longer works. What can you tell me about all this. After experiencing a short 20 minute power outage, we no longer can receive any channels at all? The cable has been check and replaced and a known good signal cable attached to the ANT2 coax connector. The DVD player still works fine and I can use the remote to try to scan for channels, but 0 are found. It seems like something might have taken a power surge in the tuner to me?? I can't find anyone to come and service this LCD TV in Wisconsin. Bob

Bob,
Are you certain you've connectet the antenna coaxial cable correctly?
There's 2 of them on this TV, one for digital and one for analog/cable connections, make sure you're connected to the correct input for digital TV.
If you're certain you've got it connected correctly then your problem is going to most likely be in the TV tuner board inside the TV.
Good Luck!
