Cant get my 11A086F062 Yard Machine to crank
I cant seem to get my mower to crank. I've checked the spark plug it's firing, I have Gas in it. The mower was given to me by my father and it has being sitting in a garage for a while. I was wondering if you had a diagram of the motor online to show me things to check on it. For instant's my father says that it may be the points I would'nt know where to start looking for points.

How old is this mower?
They stopped using points on lawn mowers some time ago.
When they had points on them, they were under the flywheel.
You will need a puller to get the flywheel off.
Does it start or fire when you pour some gas in the carb.?
Could have lost it's prime, meaning, the gas evaporated from the primer bowl of the carb.
Take the air cleaner off and pour a small amount of gas into the carb. Replace the air cleaner and try to start it.
The diaphragm/fuel pump and gasket dry out also, they are about a $4-$5 dollar part if it is a Briggs&Stratton 3- 4 horse, which I am assuming is on your mower.
