This how it all started i turned this thing on 1 night and got a error message stating that there was a error loading the os so i tried to do a restore no good new message can't find os so i go buy a windows xp home disc at computer store tried to format it myself. this notebook will not take a format i have bought and installed a new 40g sata HDD and have also replaced the memroy in it . i still can not get it to take a os if i try to do a fast format it goes to %20 and stops if i do a slow format it runs through in about 10 mins. to %100 and stops never before this have i seen a computer refuse to format can somebody help? it's a Everex StepNote LM7WZ with a 40g sata HDD
