Can't hook up my laptop to play DVD's through my Eiki LC-XNB4M
I have a Dell Inspiron 1000 that plays DVD movies fine. It has Windows XP Home Edition with SP3 and 53+ GB of free disk space. It has 3 USB ports, 1 terminal that looks like the projector's "computer in 2/component in", and an earphone out jack that works fine.
I have a USB cable - one end is flat for connecting to the laptop and the other end fits into the projector's USB (series B) port. I have 3 other cables: an S-Video, a "Computer in 1/DVI-1" terminal cable, and a heavy duty cable with Red, White, and Yellow RCA plugs on both ends.
Everything on the projector works fine, except I can't find the right combination of cables from laptop to projector, or the right settings in the projector menu. All I can get the projector to do is display a pretty blue screen. Please help! Thanks!

Computer should always be connected with 15 pin VGA to DVI-I cable.
Select in menu input 1 analog RGB and adjust output resolution of Dell to 1024 x 768. this should work !
USB is only for mouse control with pj remote
