Are you running 64 bit Vista?
If so you will need 64 Bit drivers for the device
Download this file

DO NOT CONNECT THE DEVICE UNTIL IT TELLS YOU
When the windows warning pops up, Install the driver anyway. then connect the device, that should fix the problem It worked on my 64bit Vista Ultimate
You are installing on your 32-bit computer check your CPU specification.

I have the same problem and found a possible fix: (a) go to device manager in my computer; (b) under network connections, select dynex device; (c) find folder in which computer is storing drivers (probably C/windows/system32/drivers); (d) manually open the files contained on install CD; (d) paste drivers from install CD for Vista into both system32 and system64 folders; and (e) reboot machine with device plugged in. If that does not work, then repeat the process but remove the drivers from the system32 folder.
