Can't make the T5420 operate without the beeps!
I was told there is a way to make this radio operate silent last year. They worked fine last year, but then I replaced the batteries, and now they beep again. I cannot make them do it again. Does anyone know how to make them operate silent?

I have not looked up the T5420 user guide, however, on most Motorola TalkAbouts you hold in the minus (-) button while turning the radio on. Post back if this doesn't work, and we'll find the manual for you.
