Can't move my Family tree to my new computer
I bought a new computer, it has Vista, I want to put my geneology on the new computer, but it will not accept it. So, I bought Family Tree Maker 2009, installed it, tried to import my file from the cother computer (by CD) and it won't accept it. I have 113,238 names on the disc and don't want to loose them.

I hope you didn;t throw out your old computer, as it it is almost impossible to use some xp and vista op software on other computers. Put your file on a flashdrive and see if you can import it.
