Cant play sims hot date
Hello can you help me with this problem. I have bought 3 different Hot date disks, all with the same problem. I have the original sims and bought hot date. Whenever I try to install it, I get a message saying "this does not appear to be the correct CD'. I have done so much research on this, But i am still no closer to a conclusion. I have more than the min system requirements. Win XP 1675 Mhz, GForce Fx5200 Nvida graphic card, DVD rom drive, Directx10, 1536mb Ram.

After you put the Sims hot date/whatever in and put the installation number then you have to swap over the disks to the original sims.
THeres something wrong with the CD laser reader. It happens to me as well. You will need to get the cd reader checked at a nearby repair store. If they dont see nothing wrong, get a proper specialist to look at it: or get a new CPU unit.
