Can't remove the top to get to the motor
I need to take the top off the motor of a Genie 300PH wet/dry vacuum. there are four screws; two are phillips head and the other two are different. How do I get the two different screws out? I don't have an screw drives that will fit the top of the two non-phillips head screws. Tom

2 of the 4 fasteners on my Genie were TORX head screws with the little round 'blocking post' in the opening.
I acquired a set of TORX drivers which have a hollow center to accomodate these particular fasteners. (Maybe the tools came from Harbour Freight)
The REAL problem is that a new motor seems to cost 2 or 3 times the price of a new wet/dry vac.
Good luck
I drilled out the fasteners.
