I have a Protron PLTV-3250 and I can't find a powere button on it or nothing...and I don't have a remote...does it even have a remote?

It did have one when new and you can find a replacement here:

I'm not familiar with the details of your set but if you haven't found one, it may not have one. We have owned one set that had other set-top functions but also no power button.
