This is the 2nd sorry im not a mech,after the 1st time.replaced batt,starter,dist,cap,rotor,ign module,plugs new altenator,1 wire going to batt, this iss a 350 small block,motor was new only has 3300 miles,i spent a lot of money,replaced calipers ect,for safety ,just frustrated,pay mech, ,got the car good Friday,when we had that heat were it was 100 never happens in n,j. the car would just kick over but not start,. changed the parts ,ran goog for the few times I had it out,then yesterday,on a main road,and car shut down.thank god no 1 behind me. this is a basic eng.only other thing is, the carb,ialways smell gas.it is jetting, or was I should say.new carb.had the timing done.may b electrical problem I have a beautiful car.but cant drive it,because who wants to worry about breakig down.i have get a mech,that has time to go over the car,not just change parts.i work with natural gas every day,that dangerous enough.who want to get hurt driving a car u always wanted,this is my 2nd 79.never had problems like I have with this one.thank u for your time
