Car loses power and have to pull over. Happening more frequently. You switch off engine and restart and it works fine. Can't see a pattern. It's going in for service Monday. Any advice?

Car loses power and have to pull over. Happening more frequently. You switch off engine and restart and it works fine. Can't see a pattern. It's going in for service Monday. Any advice?

Could be a restricted fuel filter and a service may cure problem, make the aware of the problem and ask them to test drive after service to see if fault is cured, if fault is still present ask to have scan done for fault codes
