Car running lumpy, reduced power
I have a 2000 daewoo lanos check engine light either stays on or flashes intermittently, i have been told by the gargae it is a fautly o2 sensor, had all coil packs replaced and new spark plugs. sometimes it runs ok and then all of a sudden it runs lumpy (sounds like a tank) and looses power, but isnt stalling when idleing. i have just disconnected the o2 sensor by the fans, is it the o2 sensor that needs to be replaced. the garage cant seem to help and iam at my wits end to know what else to try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the garage you took it to a daewoo dealership? If not then try one; they should be able to run a diagnostic. If so, take to a different one.
I would think it is the o2 sensor. If you disconnected it then it sounds like you have the knowledge to replace one. When mine went bad the car didn't stall.
im having the simular problem with my daewoo. one of the codes that came back after changing everything else was the oxygen sensor may be faulty the fuel pump is low on pressure or it could be the fuel injectors..so many things could be causing the problem im still looking for a solution.little by little i am fixing each problem.
