Car sounds like its not shifting once I hit 30 mph
My car sounds like its not shifting gears once I reach 30 mph. Does anyone know what may cause this? I keep the car maintenanced...but it does have 85,000 miles on it.

85k is not high mileage. once you reach where it won't shift try letting go of the gas pedal completely for about 2 seconds and then push again and see if that makes it change. you may want to try to slip stop in your transmission. well if letting go of the gas pedal works you may have a problem with your modulator and i can tell you that's not cheap to fix
