Car won't start right away

Problem: recently, my car has not been starting radomly. The battery is a little over a year. There is a clicking sound. Then it starts after a couple of attempts.

The clicking is the solenoid in your starter, you need to check your battery terminals, then check your starting voltage with a multi meter on DC volts, put the leads on your battery terminals if your battery voltage is dropping below 11 volts you need to get a new battery.... you need to check the connections to your starter....
