Carb setting stihl bg 61 AV blower
My leaf blowers don\'t like to idle all that well. I got two at a yard sale for the grand total of... ready for this??? $5.00!!!! I know, what a still right? The deay of the year for this fella!! They both had gas ("fresher" gas, anyways I took them home, primed them and low and behold with no more then 10 pulls they both fired up. GREAT compression!!! I\'m NOT to keen on the "throttle"/"idle" set up, just three options?, BUT for $2.50 per unit, I\'m O.K. with that. ANY and ALL help/info will & would be GREATLY appreciated and useful...
I\'d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families, immediate as well as extended) a VERY, VERY Merry Christmas, and an EXTRA safe, happy and a VERY, VERY, VERY prosperous New Year!! Be kind to all you encounter. Peace be with you, God bless you, go in peace. I hope this message finds you in great health, high spirits and happiness...

Most stihl blowers have 1 or 2 screws near the carb to adjust the idle, try turning a quarter turn while running. not familiar with this particular model. if a rough idle is your only issue with a $2.50 blower, just consider yourself lucky. carb could be gunked up as well. may want to take it apart and have a look, and take the filter out of the exhaust chamber and burn off carbon deposits... not really sure what your question is here
