Card only works with Windows generic drivers. NVidia's go crazy
XP Pro, SP-3 system, Asus board. When using Nvidia's drivers, system goes crazy. Artifacts and random numbers are all over the screen, nothing lines up and the system is unstable and useless. Disable those drivers and system works, but no direct x or 3-D possible. Have downloaded latest drivers and nothing I have tried works. Substituted a different AGP card and system wouldn't even bootup. What to do?
Thanks

Is this the driver you downloaded?

if not try that one.
if indeed that is the one you tried then try this one instead.
although this is a beta driver it might work.

those are the only 2 drivers i can find for this series on windows xp.
you could also try re-installing direct-x.
there is also another thing you can try. maybe the video memory is'nt working like it should. you could try google for any video memory testing program. i know i use PCcheck for those kind of things but i dont remember if its free or not. good luck.
