We purchased a house and the Casablanca Stealth 3211T in the master. The fan stopped working several months after we moved in and our home warranty purchased the new model to replace it. We installed the new fan (Casablanca Stealth 3211A) using the old canopy and pole but the new fan will not turn on when we tried with the new remote. The old Stealth had the Inteli•Touch wall control but the new one has the Advan•Touch remote. Now that we have the Advan•Touch remote the wall control is no longer of use to us. I realize that the two are not interchangeable--do we need to change the wiring before our new fan will work?
