Casio ex z60 was dropped, screen is intact no image from ccd
The camera plays back previous images fine and the menu works as well. But there is no image from the ccd. So the screen is black except for the menu options.

YOU STATE THAT THE CAMERA PLAYS BACK PREVIOUS IMAGES? ARE YOU STILL ABLE TO TAKE PICTURES? IF YOU ARE, MOST LIKELY THERE HAS BEEN SOME DAMAGE BETWEEN THE IMAGE PROCESSOR AND THE LCD. THE FACT THAT THE MENU AND OTHER IMAGES STILL WORK MEANS THE LCD IS OK, SO YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO HAVE THE CAMERA REPAIRED TO CORRECT THE DAMAGE FROM THE IMAGE PROCESSOR TO THE LCD, BUT I BELIEVE THE REPAIR COST WILL BE MORE THAN THE COST OF THE CAMERA.
