cassette player. bought cd changer from salvage yard that was an option for the '02 Neon. Installed it and only have flashing lights on it. How can I get it to play ? Thanks PS: dodge dealer says they can do it for $90 !!!

I have a 4 disk changer that had flashing error lights, i took the 3 screws off the top, 4 out the front sides that hold in the face. and then removed the 4 micro screws fron the top shiny metal cover on the front inside. this allowed me access to the internal disks that were inside. i removed them all and put it all back together. it seems that when i had work done to my car they had disconected the battery and when this was done the changer reset with disks inside still. one of them must have gotten dislodged and this is how i got the error. placed the changer back into the car and to my surprise it worked like new again. there was nothing on the forums or any search to help me out so i decided to repair myself. the worst i could do was find that there was nothing i could do and buy a new one. i just saved myself 100 dollars. hope you have the same luck
