I have 1991 Buick Riviera that I'm bringing back, the car is everything worked when I got a good place to start right. Will the computer went bad on it and blew up the water system, at point I'd already finished the suspension. I'm into the engine now I replaced the water system all new, Got a computer I was going to replace all major sensors. So I pulled the instrument cluster which was the only thing wrong with the car when I got it. I opened it and found someone had put electrical over the check engine light , it had never come on I thought the bulb might have been blown to. I sent while I did the engine work., it was suppose to be back before we were done. well that never happened. We wre finished when it arrived. I put it in and I get a check engine light, so I clear the codes start the engine no codes. You've got to drive the car awhile for the computer to start reading, this I did. While driving I got another check engine light I check for codes. it gives me 21,26,41. 21 is the throttle control sensor that been replaced already,26 is a quad driver and it's actually acomputer chip in the EMC,41 is the can sensor> So I replace the computer with a refurbished unit the last one was just out of a recycler pull codes again. All codes are gone, I take the car out put some miles on come back run codes thier all back. I've the position sensor with a meter it's within parameters. I have a recycled wiring harness ready to go on. But I need some help the way it is with code lights and all the damn thing is getting good gas mileage and runs like a bear.If you have an answer please send it thank you Rick

Car has been running fine. Parked and locked from the inside, not with remote. Few hours later unlocked with remote and car will not start, not even a click. Have checked all connections, wires, fuses everything. Chip in key is loose so we had the Buick dealership cut a new key. After that it started once only to shut down immediatey like the fuel just shut off. I feel this is a security system issue but do not know where to start to fix it

My 86 buick riviera t type cannot keep steady rpm. when cruising at constant speed rpm will go up and down erreatically,causing car to rock and even stall. engine and tranny have been rebuilt, gastank, fuel pump and mass airflow sensor replaced. if this is a computer problem, can computer be rebuilt, and who does it?
