Cd rom how do i reinstall my cd rom on my paviillion a305w i cant use my cd rom i uninstalled it. i have windows xp and windows media 9 and it doesnt work either. i removed a lot of programs and i hope i didnt remove 1 that i need like micro soft plzz help!!!!!!!!!

Disconnect and reconnect open device mngr -cd/dvd rom if yellow? right click update/install driver ..... should search and install driver automatically 1 power off 2 disconnect cd rom 3 reconnect cd rom
First use the following steps:
Use the following link, scroll a little and click on Fix It

Click Run in the File Download dialog box and follow the steps in the wizard
When completed restart the computer and check the CD/DVD drive
(you may need to run Fix It twice)
