Clarion DX-425: You cannot pull the stuck CD straight out with pliers/tweezers because it sits on a plastic tray that has 2 plastic tips that keep it in place and blocks the entrance. First, press the DCP Release button to detach the face plate (Control Panel), then look inside the opening with torchlight and you can see 2 black vertical plastic tips that's between the CD and the slot opening. Solution: You have to use any tool to manually push down the 2 plastic tips (do one tip at a time) as you slide a thin cardboard/plastic in between the CD and the plastic tip to create a gap. The CD should be sitting on the cardboard now. Only then you can use tweezer to pull out the CD.
FRONT ============ CD VIEW ++++++++++ cardboard (slide in between: under CD but above the 2 plastic tips) OF SLOT ___[]____[]___ plastic tray with 2 vertical tips
Depending on how its mounted/what type of car you have... detach the face plate and pop off the trip ring, then (if you still have them) the keys that came with the radio along either side of the radio and it should slide right out. if you don't have the "keys" 2 butter knives can do the job in a pinch.
