Cds fine; dvds won't load
Any cd i put in works fine, but if I put a dvd in (and I have tried several) it just tries to continue to try and load for about 30 seconds. It displays "read" the whole time and then displays "?" and stops loading. I also checked to make sure it was set to read region 1 dvds, which i have, and it is good. Any suggestions?

Most likely the DVD laser lens is dirty. Unplug the CH-DVD 300 from the wall outlet, wait 5 minutes, then remove the top cover. Next, remove the rectangular metal plate which covers the area where the CD or DVD disc would be when in the player's tray. Underneath the rectangular plate you should see two small lenses. Gently clean these lenses using ear swabs moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Reassemble the CH-DVD 300 in the reverse order that you disassembled it, plug it back into power, and now it should read your DVD discs just fine.
