Ceiling fan my main light switch is on, but my remote will not work. i turned the main light switch on the wall off by accident and that is when the remote and everything stopped working. i can't even turn the light on and off by switch, cord or remote. how do i program the remote to work. i no instruction manual

My fan and light worked and now it doesnt. The batteries are good. I think I deprogramed it. I need the codes and threw out the book.
If the switch is "OFF" on the wall, the remote will not control anything. The power has to reach the receiver first. If it worked before you turrned the swich off, than one of two things. Either
A: You blew a circuit to the unit or
B: Your receiver went out.
First thing I would do is check that POWER is getting to the receiver.
