If you don't card what you have in your phone, just try to hard reset your phone (everything will gone, and setting will be taken)..........
unless your phone has problem, then you should be fine.
make sure that you are using a AT&T SIM card (or you can ask anyone who using ATT service, then try their sim card)
are set your cellphone on air plane mode??
no income and outgoing call allow.............
have you change another at&t SIM card
