Changing brush motor wiring colours
The original motor has black and white wires going to the back of the motors each with a capacitor / condenser in parallel with the terminal and the casing barrel. The new one just has simple red and black which I can connect beneath the heat shrink. Why does the newer motor not need the condensers and will I have to change the PCB control unit also? And from motor to loom on the Vax is White the Live?
